The research conducted by IT doctoral students benefits in multiple ways from the resources provided by the four MIT Sloan IT research centers and projects:

-- MIT Center for Information Systems Research (CISR)

-- PROductivity From Information Technology (PROFIT) Initiative

These research initiatives include over 60 corporate sponsors who present challenging research issues and provide valuable access to study sites and experiments. In addition, they provide funding of about 5 million dollars annually to support a research infrastructure that includes professional research staff, administrative staff, travel support and more.
